Hale Center ISD

I am beginning my 11^th year of teaching, my first year to teach first grade in Hale Center. 

.  I previously taught Third grade Math and Science in Lockney Texas, Structured Learning Class in Lubbock, Texas, Second grade in Cotton Center, Texas and Pre-K in Plainview, Texas

I have been married to my husband, Mark for 30 years. We have three boys, two daughter in loves and our first grandchild due in November. We live in Abernathy Tx and have two dogs named Indy and Jax. We like spending time in our yard and visiting our children.

My parents named me Amanda, but always called me Amy. Please refer to me as Amy,after fifty years of being Amy,  I may not answer to Amanda. When I am not teaching “littles,” I enjoying being outside, sewing, decorating my house and being with family and friends.  I also collect crosses and Santas.  We have over 150 Santas that we display at Christmas. I recently began working in my yard and enjoy the flowers I have succeeded in keeping alive throughout the summer.
