I am a Hale Center High School graduate of the class of 1982. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Wayland Baptist University and my Master’s degree from Texas Tech.

I attend a variety of professional development workshops every year. They are mostly centered on helping students become better readers and writers.
I started teaching at Hale Center High School in 1993-Present.
I have been teaching for a total of thirty-three years, twenty-eight of those here at HCHS.
This year I will be teaching English III, English II, Honors English I & II, and EOC Prep.
I began my teaching career at Spade, Texas, where I taught for two years: 1988-1990. I then went to Kress High School and taught for another three years from 1990-1993.
My husband is David Hamilton. He is originally from Manchester, England.
David and I have a cat named Rowena.
